2023 was an exciting year at Streams. God was faithful every step of the way, as we added new programs and grew our impact. As we begin a new year, join us in praying for God’s continued guidance:
- Food Center: Praise God for the way he provided in 2023. Pray for continued provision of resources, food, and volunteers in 2024.
- Tutoring: Pray for tutors and students as they start back up in the coming weeks. Pray for a smooth transition.
- SWAG: Pray for students to return excited after Christmas break. Pray for continued growth in the program and good relationships to form between students.
- GED/High School Diploma Program: Praise God for each individual that participates. They currently have over 60 students enrolled. Pray for wisdom and confidence for participants to reach their goals.
- As we begin the new year, join us in praying for God’s guidance. Pray for wisdom as we continue current programs and explore new opportunities.
- We are in the process of looking for a Development Director. Pray for wisdom and for God to guide us to the right person for the position.
Current News
- Thank you! Thank you for your prayers and help with meeting our match campaign! Because of your support, in 2023 we were able to reach an average of 1,100 families per month at Streams.
- We would love to visit your church in 2024 or have you host a leadership meeting here to share about Streams. Reach out to makalah@streamsgr.org to set something up.
- Freezer Meals: As we start the new year we could use more meals to restock our freezer. If you, your small group, or church are willing to make and drop off freezer meals we would greatly appreciate it. Contact makalah@streamsgr.org or sue@streamsgr.org for a recipe book of ideas and instructions for drop off.
- Reminder: Streams strives to show the love of Jesus through programs and relationships. Our programs focus mainly on health and education. We do not assist with financial needs, gas cards, rent or utilities. If you have questions about what we offer please reach out to makalah@streamsgr.org.
