April Prayer Newsletter

As we look forward to more signs of Spring, join us in lifting the following requests to our Heavenly Father:

• Food Center: We praise God for his provision. Pray for God to continue to provide enough food for us to help our neighbors. Pray for God to meet our neighbors in the difficult circumstances they face and for Streams to be a place of hope and encouragement.
• Tutoring: Praise God for the amazing people God has led to be tutors. Pray for students to finish the school year strong and advance to the next grade level. Pray for wisdom as we begin planning for summer.
• GEMS: In March the girls enjoyed learning golf with First Tee. Praise God for this partnership and new opportunities. Pray for girls to continue to engage and for relationships to keep growing.
• Streams ‘U’: We praise God that the first few sessions of Trauma 101 went well. Pray for each participant that has been engaged. Pray for wisdom as we seek out opportunities for future classes.
• As we enter into a new season, we pray for God’s continued provision. Pray for the necessary donations and financial resources to sustain our programming.

Current News

• Diaper Drive: Diapers are a huge need for our neighbors and our supply remains low. If your church, small group or organization would be willing to do a diaper drive, let us know! Reach out to makalah@streamsgr.org or heidi@streamsgr.org for more details.
• Neighborhood Cleanup Day: On May 11 we will bring in dumpsters for our neighbors to clean out their homes, while also tackling spring cleaning on our campus. We need your help to make this happen! Would your small group or family be willing to help for a few hours? Email makalah@streamsgr.org to sign up.
